Care, replacement & FAQ

01
When to Change the Blade

Change your blade every 5 to 10 shaves depending on how coarse your hair is. A dull blade will drag instead of cut — you will feel the difference immediately.

Never push through a dull blade. A fresh blade costs pennies and shaves better every time.
02
How to Remove the Blade Safely

Open the locking clip and spread the arms apart. Tilt the razor over a bin and the blade will slide off the pins. Never touch the cutting edge with your fingers.

Wrap the used blade in the original paper wrapper before disposing.
03
Rinse After Every Shave

After each shave, rinse the razor under running water to remove hair and shaving product. Shake off excess water and leave it open to air dry — never store it closed with a wet blade.

Storing with moisture trapped inside causes blade rust and shortens life.
04
Clean the Razor Body

Wipe the matte black stainless steel handle with a dry cloth occasionally. The finish is rust-resistant but avoiding prolonged water contact keeps it looking premium for years.

A soft dry cloth is all you need — no chemicals or abrasives.
Common Questions
What blades are compatible?

Standard single edge razor blades — Derby, Shark, Astra, Feather. All are widely available on Amazon for around $5-8 per 100 blades.

How many shaves per blade?

5 to 10 shaves depending on hair thickness. Fine hair: up to 10. Coarse beard hair: 5-7 shaves.

Can I use it for head shaving?

Yes. The EdgeX Cut works perfectly for head shaving. Use shorter strokes and keep the skin taut.

My blade wobbles — what do I do?

Reopen the clip, reseat the blade on both alignment pins, and close the clip firmly. The blade must sit flush on both pins before locking.
